Tamworth Tap has been named the best pub in the country

Yes, it’s true. Last week our Folk Club venue received the accolade of being named The Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) pub of the year. Click the Title Link above the picture for more details.

We knew when we moved here in October 2021 that this pub and brewery was something special. And the room we have use of is really fantastic for our club.

About the Award 

CAMRA’s National Pub of the Year is the annual competition to find the very best pub in the UK, highlighting the best pubs in the country since 1988. The competition helps to showcase quality pubs around the UK that are worth seeking out and visiting. It’s all about finding the cream of the crop and the best place for you to enjoy a pint of real ale. Some may also have good quality real cider or perry for you to sample.
